The Immortal Companion Blog Tour 2013

Good people! So good to see you here! I'm happy to have young adult paranormal author, KB Lever, on my blog today! She's currently penning the series, The Immortal Companion which is experiencing explosively awesome reviews everywhere it's featured---Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads--you name it, it's a five-star, baby! So! How about a little about the author herself? Here's a snapshot:

Now KB hails from Simpsonville, South Carolina and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina when she was twelve years old. Her life was filled with softball games, writing and cheering on the N.C. State Wolfpack with her dad. She didn't express a real desire to write until she was in high school. Short stories and poems filled her notebooks for science, history and math and by the time graduation rolled around, she was following her second passion and that was to help others. Driven by this passion, she entered into the field of emergency services. She became a professional firefighter, which led her to the promotion of Fire Lieutenant! She then expanded her studies to become an Emergency Medical Technician. (Definitely sounds a good person to have around, doesn't it?) Shortly thereafter, KB resigned from the fire department and advanced her career in the medical field by becoming a Paramedic Crew Chief. It's been a rewarding journey, bringing her happiness and contentment to help the public. Then came the birth of her daughter, Ava, and KB decided that she needed to write her story. For the first time in a long time, KB picked up a pen and began writing. In a small, leather-bound journal, she recorded Ava's accomplishments, life experiences and memories that wouldn't fit into a baby album. It unknowingly fired up her first love: writing. From that moment on, she spends every free minute she has writing away, sometimes staying up into the wee hours of the morning, jotting down the ideas, conversations and plots that swirl around in her head. The Immortal Companion series is the result of her reawakened passion.

Here is the cover for the first installment of The Immortal Companion series. It's called Manipulating the List. Tell me that this cover doesn't give you goosebumps!

It's so mysterious, isn't it? I can't wait to read this! KB graciously supplied me with a copy of this young adult tale but I was unable to read it in time for this blog date! However! I did sneak a peek at the first page and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it involves something that we all fear but must face eventually! So I will post a review of this book at a later date! In the meantime however, if you're interested and intrigued about this new series, check out Manipulating the List at the purchase links below! It will be money and time well-spent!
And of course, if you want to find KB Lever to wish her luck or to chit-chat or just tell her how much you love her writing, you can locate her here:

Happy reading, ladies and gents! And KB, best of luck to you!
Cheers!
